Hello there! I'm Aislinn Tan,
but most people call me Linny. I'm a soft goods design engineer at Bilio in Berkeley, CA, where I specialize in the development and implementation of anything and everything ‘soft’— wearables, medical devices, carry gear, etc.— particularly at the intersection with hard goods and technology. I’ve worked with groups ranging from innovation teams in athleticwear to engineering + manufacturing teams in consumer tech. I believe in the power of the exploratory process of thinking through making, ranging from actualizing blue- sky design concepts to optimizing systems for manufacturing.
Previously a soft goods designer at Terrazign, and Industrial Design graduate from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Design.
When I’m not in the studio, you can find me growing obscure houseplants, or out exploring with my dog!
